SA8™ Delicate can be used on all delicate, colourfast and washable fabrics – lingerie, silk, hosiery, hand-knitted and woollen items as well as synthetics like nylon, rayon and polyester. It is also ideal for hi-tec sportswear such as gortex and microfibre materials. , but speciaaly * Recommended for fine washables like silk & Wool.
Use the AMWAY™ Pour and Measure Cap for maximum economy and to prevent spills.
Please be aware:
* Make sure you set the machine to a gentle cycle in cool water.
* Wash only garments labelled washable and colourfast. Always follow garment manufacturer’s instruction.
* Rinse the garments and dry naturally according to the care instructions.
USE DIRECTIONS:
HAND WASHING:
* Add 5 ml to 5 Lt of cool water , depending on the hardness of the water.
*Dissolve the liquid in water----add clothes---Soak for 5 minutes,---gently squeeze.---- Rinse thoroughly,----do not wring.
* Roll garments in towels to absorb excess water. Dry flat away from sun and heat.
MACHINE WASHING:
* Fill machine with cool water.
* Add SA8 Delicate as per chart below. For hard water, add an additional 5 ml.
*Agitate briefly. Stop machine.
* Add clothes and let soak for 5 minutes.
* Wash in short gentle cycle and continue through cold water rinse.
*. Do not spin dry. For drying, follow instructions given for hand washing.
1 capful =20 ml AMOUNT
Large machines (45-70 litres) 20 ml
Medium machines (30-45 litres) 15 ml
Small Machines (20-30 litres) 10 ml
Hand Washing 5 ml per 5 litres of water
PRETREATING: Apply SA8 Delicate on soiled spots before placing in machine. For heavily soiled clothes, very hard water or reused water; use an additional 5 ml to 10 ml.

Materials needed:
SA8 Delicate Liquid Laundry Detergent, competitive laundry detergent, two teaspoons (5 ml), two tall glasses water (250 ml each), water, pH indicator strips pH 6.5 – 10.0 Cat. 9583
1. Fill the 2 glasses (250 ml) with water
2. Add 1 teaspoonful of SA8 Delicate to 1 tall glass and mix
3. Dip the colored end of a pH indicator strip into the tall glass and set aside
4. Add 1 teaspoon of competitive liquid laundry detergent to the remaining tall glass and mix
5. Dip the colored end of a pH indicator strip into the tall glass and set aside
6. Compare the resulting color of the strips to the color key to determine the pH of the solution
Result: The pH indicator strips show SA8 Delicate delivers a wash pH that is between 6.5 and 8.0, which is considered neutral. The pH strip dipped in the competitive wash solution is much higher. By using a product that is pH balanced to neutral like SA8 Delicate, you can provide cleaning and better protection for your fine washable fabrics.
